  2. Select the server where you want notifications
  3. Review and authorize the requested permissions
  4. You're all set! The bot will join your server
Required Permissions

Streamlinx needs Send Messages and Embed Links permissions to send notifications. These are automatically selected during setup.

Step 2: Track Your First Streamer

Now that the bot is in your server, let's add a streamer to track:

Using Discord Commands

In any channel where the bot has permissions, type:

/streamer add

You'll be prompted to enter:

  • Platform: Choose Twitch or YouTube
  • Username: The streamer's username (e.g., "ninja" for twitch.tv/ninja)
  • Channel (optional): The Discord channel to receive notifications
That's it!

Once added, you'll automatically receive notifications when this streamer goes live!
